With Amazon Flex, you'll have the opportunity to make the following types of deliveries:

  • Amazon.com: Pick up packages from an Amazon delivery station and deliver them directly to customers. Delivery blocks typically last 3-6 hours.
  • Prime Now and Amazon Fresh: Pick up groceries or household items from an Amazon delivery station and deliver them directly to customers. Delivery blocks typically last 2-4 hours.
  • Store Orders: Pick up orders from local stores and deliver them directly to customers. Delivery blocks typically last 2-4 hours.

 

 

What Type of Driver's License Do I Need for Amazon Flex?

To be eligible to deliver with Amazon Flex, you need to have a government-issued U.S. driver's license that meets the following criteria:

  • Current: The license must not be expired or invalid, and it should not have any hole punches or breaks.
  • Photo ID: The license must have your photo on it and should not be a learner's permit, temporary license without a photo, or any other unaccepted license type.

You must possess a physical, government-issued ID (not a photocopy, scan, or screenshot of a license). Your license must also match the information you provided (name, age, birth date, state, license number) in the app and show that you are at least 21 years old.

What Type of Vehicle Do I Need to Become a Delivery Partner at Amazon Flex?

To deliver with Amazon Flex, you'll need to use a 4-door, mid-sized sedan, or larger vehicle. Acceptable vehicles include trucks with a covered bed, SUVs, or vans that can safely and reliably transport assigned deliveries to customers. Smaller cars and trucks with open beds do not qualify.

At this time, motorcycles, motorized bicycles, and motorized scooters do not qualify for Amazon Flex deliveries.
