Hiring Truck Driver in Albany NY. As truck Driver who will be responsible for safely operating various trucks, including forklifts, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and experience operating different types of trucks.

Duties:

• Operate various trucks, including forklifts, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

Skills:

• Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Experience operating a variety of trucks, such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or dump trucks.
• Proficiency in loading and unloading cargo using forklifts or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance.
