The Store Driver position in Charlottetown PE is an entry-level role that involves delivering parts to our commercial customers and assisting with store tasks and inventory processes. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver parts to Charlottetown customers as required
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Collect returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Manage daily collection of credit accounts

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot upkeep
• Assist with general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock organization

Key Success Factors:

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Ability to use delivery board system
• Friendly and effective communication
• Parts locating and stocking proficiency
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment

Essential Job Skills:

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with customers, peers, and management
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Flexibility to work various days, evenings, and weekends as required
