Job Summary:

Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company requirements
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
• Report any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch
• Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings
• Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies
• Notify Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, or property damage
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager
• Position containers on customer properties appropriately

Qualifications:

• Education: None required
• Experience: No prior work experience required
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Commercial Driver's License A (CDL), 18 years of age or older, acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• CLASS A CDL DRIVERS
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience
