Onboarding
Onboarding runs through the Swiggy delivery-partner app; you may be assigned Instamart orders by zone or opt for grocery deliveries. Documents, kit and payouts follow the Swiggy process, typically weekly. Earnings vary by city and hours.

Delivery work in Delhi NCR: areas, vehicle and peak hours

Delhi NCR is really several delivery markets: Delhi itself (Dwarka, Rohini, Janakpuri, Lajpat Nagar, Saket, Karol Bagh), Gurugram (Cyber City, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, Sector 29), Noida and Greater Noida (Sectors 18, 62, 137 and the expressway), and Ghaziabad–Faridabad. Platforms assign you to one of these, so distance from home is the first question. Winters bring smog days and summers extreme heat, and both shift demand to evenings. Gurugram and Noida offices make lunch a strong window on weekdays.

Busiest areas in Delhi NCR

  • Dwarka
  • Rohini
  • Lajpat Nagar
  • Saket
  • Karol Bagh
  • Gurugram (Cyber City, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road)
  • Noida (Sector 18, 62, 137)
  • Indirapuram & Vaishali
  • Faridabad

Vehicle that works in Delhi NCR

Two-wheeler for food, grocery and parcels; many riders use electric scooters because fuel costs eat into earnings on NCR distances. Cars for ride-hailing (airport and inter-city demand is high). Vans and tempos for the logistics hubs in Okhla, Mundka, Greater Noida and Manesar.

Peak demand times

Weekday lunch in Gurugram, Noida and Connaught Place offices; dinner everywhere; weekends and extreme-weather evenings for grocery; parcels all day.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Swiggy Instamart delivery partner do?
Swiggy Instamart is Swiggy's grocery service. Delivery partners pick up grocery orders from an Instamart dark store and deliver them to nearby customers, often alongside Swiggy food orders in the same app.

What do I need to become a Swiggy Instamart delivery partner?
The same as for Swiggy food delivery: age 18 or above, a two-wheeler or cycle (zone-dependent), licence for motorised vehicles, Aadhaar, PAN, bank account and an Android phone.

Which part of Delhi NCR should I choose for delivery work?
The one you live in. Each sub-city (Delhi, Gurugram, Noida/Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) is a separate delivery zone with its own hubs, and commuting across the NCR costs more than the extra orders earn. Gurugram and Noida have strong weekday lunch demand from offices; Delhi residential areas are strongest at dinner. The form asks your city, so write the sub-city you live in and we match within it.
