Company-wise: what the role is and how onboarding works
HireRider is an independent hiring platform. The companies below are not affiliated with us; the official sign-up pages are linked where they exist so you can check every requirement at the source. Earnings vary by city, hours and incentives, and any number you see elsewhere is indicative – verify with the company.
Open roles shown on this site are HireRider agency roles for confidential clients; they are not vacancies posted by the companies named above.
A Swiggy delivery partner picks up food orders from restaurants and delivers them to customers inside a small zone, using the Swiggy delivery-partner app. Log-in hours are flexible; lunch, dinner and weekends carry the most orders.
Requirements
Age 18 or above, a two-wheeler with valid RC (some zones accept cycles), a driving licence for motorised vehicles, Aadhaar, PAN, a bank account and an Android phone.
Onboarding
Register in the partner app, upload documents, choose a zone, complete a short orientation and collect the delivery bag. A refundable kit deposit may apply – verify with Swiggy. Payouts are typically weekly.
A Zomato delivery partner delivers restaurant orders to customers in an assigned area through the Zomato delivery-partner app, logging in for the hours they choose. Orders peak at lunch, dinner, weekends and in bad weather.
Requirements
Age 18 or above, own two-wheeler with RC (cycle in some zones), driving licence for motorised vehicles, Aadhaar, PAN, bank account and an Android smartphone.
Onboarding
Sign up in the app, upload documents, pick your area and attend a brief onboarding session, often at a local partner hub, where the bag and T-shirt are issued; ask about any deposit. Payouts are usually weekly, with peak-hour incentives.

Onboarding
Flex: download the app, register, upload documents, pass verification and choose blocks. Associate roles: apply to the delivery partner, attend a station interview and document check, then train on the app. Earnings vary by block, city and hours.

Onboarding
Hiring is through the local hub or a staffing partner: document check, short interview, then app and route training. Most roles are full-time or fixed-shift, not app log-ins. Pay varies by hub – verify with the hiring partner.

Onboarding
Apply to the local operator (Valmo calls them pilots): document check and app training at their centre. Routes and pay are set by the operator, not Meesho – verify terms first. Tell us your city and area on the call and we match you with active operators.

Earnings and benefits: what actually decides your income
We do not quote earnings. Delivery and driving income depends on your city, the hours you work, incentives that change weekly, and what your vehicle costs you. Any figure you see in an advert is indicative – verify it with the company before you plan around it.
What raises earnings
Working the peak windows: lunch and dinner for food, evenings and weekends for grocery, commute hours for rides.
Incentives: most platforms pay extra for order targets, peak hours, rain and festival days. They change often; read the week's scheme in the app.
Short trips in a dense zone: more orders per hour than long runs across the city.
Ratings and acceptance: steady ratings keep you in the better order pool on most apps.
Working two platforms in different windows (allowed as a partner; check each app's rules).
What lowers take-home
Fuel or charging: the biggest daily cost on a two-wheeler; EVs lower it but add charging time.
Vehicle EMI, insurance, servicing and tyres.
Mobile data and phone wear.
Kit deposits (bag, T-shirt) where a company asks for one – usually refundable, confirm before paying.
Tax: partner payouts are income; keep your PAN and bank records.
Benefits to ask about
Accident and health insurance cover while on duty (many platforms provide some; ask what is covered).
Fuel, EV or phone tie-ups and discounts.
Weekly payouts and advance options.
Safety, trust and fraud warning
We never charge applicants any fee. Never pay anyone for a delivery job.
No company on this page charges for an interview, registration or "joining" – anyone asking for money in their name is a fraud.

Frequently asked questions
How do I become a Swiggy or Zomato delivery partner?
Register in the Swiggy or Zomato delivery-partner app, upload your licence, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details and vehicle RC, choose your zone and attend a short onboarding, often at a local hub. You must be 18 or older with a two-wheeler (cycles in some zones). Or send our form and we guide you through the right one for your city.
How do I become an Amazon or Flipkart delivery partner?
For Amazon Flex, register in the Flex app, upload documents and pick delivery blocks with your own vehicle. For Amazon delivery associate and Flipkart delivery roles, apply to the local delivery hub or partner, attend a document check and train on the app; these are usually full-time, fixed-shift jobs. Send the form and we tell you which hubs near you are hiring.
How do I become a Blinkit or Zepto delivery partner?
Sign up in the Blinkit or Zepto delivery-partner app, upload your documents, get assigned to a dark store near you and complete a short induction. You need to be 18 or older with a two-wheeler, EV or, at some stores, a cycle. Shifts are flexible, with the most orders in the evening and at weekends. Our form pre-selects this category if you choose it.
How do I become an Uber driver or Rapido captain?
Register on Uber's driver site or app, or in the Rapido Captain app, upload your licence, vehicle RC, insurance, Aadhaar and PAN, and complete the background check. Cars need a commercial permit and a transport-endorsed licence; Rapido needs a two-wheeler with RC. Bike-taxi rules vary by state, so check your city. We can tell you what applies where you live.
How do I become a Delhivery or Shadowfax delivery partner?
Delhivery and Ecom Express hire through local dispatch centres: document check, interview and app training, usually for full-time routes. Shadowfax signs partners up in its app with flexible or fixed slots. All need you to be 18 or older with a two-wheeler and licence, except hub sorting roles, which need neither. Send the form and we match you to the open centre nearest you.
What documents do I need for a delivery job?
Aadhaar, PAN, a bank account in your name, a smartphone and, for any motorised vehicle, a driving licence plus the vehicle RC and insurance. Most companies also want a passport-size photo, and ride-hailing adds a background check. Cycle and warehouse roles need no licence. Our form never asks for any of these; the company collects them at onboarding.
What is the age limit for delivery partner jobs?
You must be at least 18 to work as a delivery partner or driver in India, because a driving licence requires it and platforms verify age with Aadhaar. Some cab and commercial-vehicle roles set 21 as the minimum. There is usually no upper limit as long as you can ride or drive safely and hold a valid licence.
Do I need my own bike to apply?
For food delivery, parcels and bike-taxi work, yes: your own two-wheeler with RC and insurance (or one you have the owner's consent to use). Quick-commerce dark stores in dense areas often accept cycles, and warehouse, sorting and loading roles need no vehicle at all. Choose "cycle" or "none" in the form and we show only roles that fit.
Can women apply for delivery partner jobs?
Yes. Food, grocery, parcel and ride-hailing platforms in India all onboard women partners, and several run daytime-only slots, women-focused onboarding drives and safety features in the app. The eligibility is the same: 18 or older, a licence for motorised vehicles and the standard documents. Tell us your preferred hours when we call.
Is it free to apply? Are there any charges?
Yes, it is completely free. HireRider never charges applicants, and no company on this page charges for registration or interviews. The only money you may hand over is a refundable kit deposit some platforms ask for at onboarding; confirm it is refundable before paying. Anyone demanding a "joining fee" in our name or a company's name is a fraud.
How soon can I start?
App-based platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Zepto and Rapido often activate partners within a few days of document verification. Hub-based jobs at Flipkart, Delhivery or Ecom Express depend on vacancies at the centre and an interview, so they can take longer. We contact you after the form, usually within a few working days, and tell you what is open now.
Can I do delivery work part-time?
Yes. Food, quick-commerce, bike-taxi and on-demand apps let you log in only for the hours you choose, and the best-paid windows (lunch, dinner, weekends) fit around college or another job. Parcel and courier routes at hubs are usually full-time or fixed shifts. Choose your vehicle in the form and say on the call that you want part-time hours; we match accordingly.
How often are delivery partners paid?
Most app platforms pay weekly to your bank account, and some ride and on-demand apps offer daily settlement. Hub-based courier and e-commerce jobs usually pay a monthly salary with incentives. The exact cycle, any minimum and the incentive scheme are set by each company and change over time, so confirm them at onboarding.
Can I work for two platforms at the same time?
As an independent partner you can usually hold accounts on more than one app and work them in different windows, for example lunch on one and dinner on another. Fixed-shift hub jobs expect you on their shift. Check each app's partner terms, keep ratings up on both, and do not accept orders on two apps at once; it hurts your ratings on both.
What if I have no driving licence yet?
You can still start: quick-commerce stores that accept cycles, and warehouse, sorting and loading roles at courier and e-commerce hubs, need no licence. Meanwhile apply for a learner's licence at your RTO or on Parivahan, then the permanent licence after 30 days; a gearless (MCWOG) licence is enough for scooters. Tell us "no licence" in the form and we show only matching roles.
Delivery boy job kaise kare? (How do I get a delivery boy job?)
Delivery boy job ke liye: be 18 or older with a two-wheeler and its RC, a driving licence, Aadhaar, PAN, a bank account and a smartphone. Register in the platform's partner app (Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Zepto) or at a courier hub, upload your documents and attend the orientation. Or fill our free form and we guide you to the right one in your city – koi fees nahi.
Where do I find delivery boy jobs near me?
Pick your city on this page: each city page lists the busiest areas, the vehicle that works there and the open roles, and the form matches you to platforms and hubs in your own area. For openings around your current location, use the Jobs near me page, which sorts live listings by distance. Delivery platforms assign work by zone, so applying close to home matters most.
